Trump has already cancelled a visit to the UK thanks to Theresa May’s stupid insults. California has a larger GDP than France, New York has a bigger economy than Spain, and Texas is richer than the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark combined. The US economy is $5tn bigger than the EU economy, but May is handing billions to Brussels for “talks” while attacking a US President who wants to do a deal. Mad! The breakdown in relations between the White House and Downing Street is growing, with a ‘working visit’ to the UK in January from President Trump now seemingly cancelled. A US diplomat has told The Telegraph that: “The idea of a visit has obviously been floated, but not December and not January. I would not expect a Trump visit in January.” It looks as if any visit from Trump will now be pushed back following controversy surrounding retweets from the Prez of fringe anti-Islam group Britain First that were condemned by Theresa May. Trump responded by telling PM May to focus on radical Islamic terrorism rather than him. It comes as a blow after Trump had previously signalled support for a “major Trade Deal” with Brexit Britain. With the UK leaving the EU, one of the huge advantages is the ability to negotiate global trade deals. Relations between the the Prime Minister and President having broken down, but it needs to be sorted and fast so Britain can maximise on a President now in the White House who is so keen on securing a trade agreement with Britain.
